City of Jackson to host Business Expo to Connect Local Vendors, Suppliers, & Residents with City departments
Jackson, Tenn. – The City of Jackson, TN’s Purchasing Department is rebranding and expanding its annual networking event to the "City of Jackson Business Expo." This free event, aimed at connecting local vendors, contractors, suppliers, businesses, and residents directly with City department decision-makers, will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Carl Perkins Civic Center (400 S. Highland Ave.).
Now in its third year, the Expo offers a critical opportunity for businesses to gain insight into major upcoming projects and secure contracting opportunities with the city government. Representatives from key departments, including Parks & Recreation, Public Works, and Planning Engineering & Building, among others, will be present to engage directly with attendees.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to:
- Secure face-to-face meetings with City department decisions-makers to build relationships.
- Discuss potential contracting opportunities and major projects directly with City representatives.
- Gain strategic insight and clarity into the process of doing business with the city government.
- Learn about the diverse functions and responsibilities of City departments on hand.
