The Love Your Block program will provide free lawn mowing assistance to eligible residents from May to August, with a set number of mows each month. Seniors or individuals with disabilities must apply and meet eligibility to be considered for approval.
"The Lawn Care Assistance Program is about more than just cutting grass—it’s about supporting residents who can no longer maintain their yards on their own and ensuring our neighborhoods remain clean and well cared for,” said City of Jackson, TN Neighborhood Services Director Abby Palmer. “By providing this service, we are reducing blight, preventing code violations, and helping to preserve the beauty and safety of our community."
This program is available to qualifying homeowners who live within the city limits of Jackson and are unable to maintain their lawns due to age, disability, or other hardship. Applications will open on March 24 and remain open until March 31.
