Jackson, Tenn. – The 2024 City of Jackson, TN Christmas Parade will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, in Downtown Jackson and will broadcast live on EPlusTV channels 6 and 206HD and online at eplustv6.com.
The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the theme “Connecting the Community through Christmas.” The lighting of the Christmas tree will be held prior to the start of the parade at 5:15 p.m. in front of Jackson City Hall located at 101 E. Main St.
"The holiday season is upon us and we again look forward to our annual Christmas Parade through downtown Jackson," said Mayor Scott Conger. "This year's theme, 'Connecting the Community through Christmas,' is a testament to how our city continues to thrive, from east to west; north to south, as one Jackson."
The grand marshal for the 2024 Christmas Parade will be Jackson Energy Authority’s Communications and Media Relations manager Steve Bowers. Bowers has spent nearly five decades in media in West TN, including radio, TV and print. Bowers hosts programs for EPlusTV6, including 6InTheCity with colleague Cassandra Fuller. This year he was inducted as a member of the TN Radio Hall of Fame. Steve, wife Pam and son Clayton are honored to call Jackson, TN home.
“Jackson, TN is a great city and wonderful community. I have spent the majority of my life and career in Jackson,” said Bowers. “Being asked to be Jackson Christmas Parade Grand Marshall is a special honor and a life highlight.”
