One of the most important divisions at the Jackson Police Department, Records, as the name suggests, is responsible for maintaining and insuring the accuracy of all records produced by the Jackson Police Department. Besides the responsibility of maintaining all records, the Records Division also provides a multitude of other important tasks for officers, other law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, the general public, other attorneys, insurance agencies, and other city departments.
